We hope you are enjoying every moment of this warm, sunny, beach-y time of year. Take a vacation! Stay out late! Grab an ice cream with your kids when the truck goes by! Summer is a time to recharge and have a little fun. It’s also the perfect time to take a look at your own job and skills and see what improvements you can make.
AXIOM offers 90 minute workouts for any of the MS Office programs, including a new “Windows 10 Essentials” class. The calendars are available through the end of summer and into September. And yes, you can take them on a beach, by a pool, or in a cozy air conditioned living room… anywhere you have a device and an internet connection!
If you need some advanced Excel tips, an introduction to Access, or advanced Power Point tricks for a new presentation, these classes can deliver. They are virtual, but are taught by a live instructor so you can ask questions and interact.

We also offer Private Classes if you have a specific need:
- Private Classes (90 minutes) – If you have a group of people interested in training on the same topic, we can schedule a private class for that group. Choose an existing course in our catalog, or let us work with you to create a custom class that meets your needs.
Participants join the class through their Web browser, where they can see the instructor’s screen as she or he demonstrates each new skill. To hear and interact with the instructor, participants can either use a computer headset (or speakers and microphone) or dial into a teleconference (normal long distance charges apply). Throughout the class, participants switch between the instructor’s screen in their browser and their own copy of the application, where they can practice applying the new skills.
Virtual classroom training is ideal for organizations with employees in multiple or remote locations, because it requires no added travel time or expense. Because our public classes are available to anyone, it also works well for smaller companies where only a few people need training on a particular topic and for individuals seeking software training on their own, rather than through their employer.
