| Description: | Learn about macro security, preparing to record a macro, absolute and relative macro recording. You will record various macros in class including a macro that formats and sums data, one that sorts, subtotals and collapses an outline, a macro that moves data to rows, another that filters for the top ten sales, copies the filtered data to a new sheet and adds a heading. Other concepts include viewing VBA code and editing the code, running macros with keyboard shortcuts, Quick Access toolbar buttons and macro buttons drawn on the worksheet. Lastly, we learn about the Personal Macro Workbook and save a macro that formats heading to the Personal Macro workbook and record a macro that runs automatically when you open the workbook. |
