EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, PRESIDENT With 20 years of industry expertise, and a proven track record in L&D talent solutions and human capital management, Herb leads AXIOM’s strategic direction by forming and maintaining valuable executive level partnerships for some of the world’s leading companies. Over the course of his career, Herb has architected learning solutions in nearly 50 countries and in nearly 30 languages. He has AXIOM positioned as the most relied upon partner of the world’s largest consulting companies for contract learning talent. He has designed one of the largest outsourced learning initiatives in L&D, providing 500 learning consultants training in the field. Herb has spoken at conferences on the contrasts and comparisons of costs for staff and contract learning talent. Herb’s client-first philosophy is what makes him a leader in his field and a partner that his clients can rely upon.
EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT Jason is a senior executive who leads the marketing and sales enablement efforts for AXIOM. He manages the company’s strategic accounts and partnerships and oversees marketing strategy and initiatives. Jason leads continuing efforts to build, elevate, and promote the AXIOM brand. An entrepreneur with more than 20 years business experience, Jason has more than 20 years of experience in human capital and resource management. Since 2009 his focus has been outsourced learning solutions with a strong emphasis in channel partnerships, healthcare, technology, and retail. Jason is the former president and founder of Choice Staffing, a New England based IT staffing company which he sold in 2009.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, OPERATIONS & FINANCE David leads Operations & Finance for AXIOM. He has over 20 years of experience managing, recruiting and delivering training solutions for a wide range of clients of various sizes and industries. David has been an entrepreneurial Learning & Development professional since 1997, when he was part of the management team at Progressive Solutions. In 2002, Dave co-founded AXIOM Training & Consulting Services. In 2013, AXIOM went from a regional training provider to a national presence by bringing in experienced industry partners who enhanced AXIOM’s services with a larger resource pool. The partnership gave AXIOM the ability to staff long-term training initiatives with subject matter experts, designers, developers and instructors from around the country.
VICE PRESIDENT, LEARNING SOLUTIONS & CLIENT EXPERIENCE Tina’s 25+ years in learning and development gives her the ability to analyze and assess our clients’ unique needs and challenges to find the right solution for them. She oversees AXIOM’s client experience area focusing on best-in-class customer support including streamlined operations, program management, sales enablement, and talent management. Prior to joining AXIOM, Tina was with another L&D consulting company where she served as Vice President, Project Management Office and Systems. She is a learning & development executive with hands-on, practical experience in instructional design and development, project management, and facilitation. Her experience spans a multitude of industries and audiences. Tina also has expertise in L&D project management, custom learning solutions, and people management. She has a proven track record of building strong relationships with all levels of the organization and influencing senior management.
VICE PRESIDENT OF STRATEGY AND LEADERSHIP Susan Franzen is Vice President of Strategy and Leadership for AXIOM Learning Solutions where she works with client organizations to define and clarify organizational strategy, align learning initiatives to strategy, and evaluate program effectiveness.
Before joining AXIOM, she served as Assistant Vice Chancellor for Organizational Effectiveness at The University of Texas System where she led the broadest and deepest organizational assessment in the history of the System. Susan was promoted to AVC from Director, Shared Services Innovations, a change management and training role for multi-institutional projects like enterprise resource planning implementation and redesigning medical curriculum for the Transformations in Medical Education (TIME) initiative. Prior to that, she served as Director, Leadership Institute where her programs achieved an average 91 percent effectiveness rating.
Before joining UT, Susan was the founder and president of LifeU, Inc., a national leadership and organizational development consulting firm with offices in Chicago, Boston and Austin, where she spent over 20 years consulting with clients on performance improvement.
Susan holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Elmhurst College and a Masters in the Neuroscience of Leadership from Middlesex University. She is a graduate of Coach University, and is certified in DiSC® Behavioral Theory, Training and Development (Boston University), Evaluation (Kirkpatrick), The Leadership Challenge program and LPI Online 360-assessment, Prosci Change Management, and as a Professional Teleclass Leader. She is immediate past Chair of Hospice Austin where she has volunteered and served on the Board since 2003. In her spare time, she reads books on neuroscience “for fun”.
SENIOR DIRECTOR, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT Peter is responsible for developing and managing high level client accounts at AXIOM. He brings more than 20 years of sales experience from the high technology industry. He has held Senior and National Account Management roles with some of the nation’s leading enterprise IT training vendors supporting both US and international companies. He has worked extensively with global financial institutions, manufacturing, insurance, software development, education and government. His involvement in the IT Training community includes various board positions and extensive volunteerism in organizations that support the development and promotion of the training industry. Peter is a member of the Board of Directors for ATD Bay Colony (in Rhode Island) and the annual ATD New England Area Conference.
DIRECTOR OF TALENT MANAGEMENT Tammy oversees recruiting, on-boarding, and talent management efforts for AXIOM. She also plays a primary role in streamlining AXIOM’s back office through their CRM systems and reporting. Prior to joining the AXIOM team, Tammy worked as a Sr Business Systems Analyst for 15 years where she managed projects, administered CRM systems, created training materials, and facilitated training. As a former business analyst, she is all about requirements and takes great pride in providing clients with a resource that fulfills all of their needs. Tammy strives to provide the most positive experience for consultants and clients and will always make sure that you hear a smile in her voice.
FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR Monique joined AXIOM in October 2020 as Finance Administrator.
She handles accounts payable, accounts receivable, on-boarding new trainers, consultants, and employees, and a variety of other financial and operational functions. Monique has more than 8 years’ experience working in finance; including most recently at Superior Plus Energy Services.
MARKETING COORDINATOR Kim is a Marketing & Business Specialist for the training, coaching and consulting professions. She has over 20 years of business support services and marketing experience.
LEAD INSTRUCTOR Michele has over 20 years of experience in teaching Microsoft and other applications. She has delivered training and consulting services to businesses across multiple industries including corporate, pharma, financial, government, construction, and law firms. Michele’s years of teaching experience enables her to easily assess and adjust to the various skill levels of her students. She combines her own experience with her students to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Michele specializes in Excel, OneDrive, Teams, and Bluebeam.
LEAD INSTRUCTOR Deb has been teaching Microsoft applications for more than 26 years. She has extensive experience in delivering training in a wide variety of software applications at all skill levels from basic to advanced. Deb delivers virtual training in Microsoft Office applications weekly. She also teaches at 3 different colleges. Specific areas of expertise include Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Access.
SENIOR RECRUITER Dave is a senior member of AXIOM’s recruiting team. Dave has over 20 years of recruiting experience with over 15 in the learning and development industry. He possesses in-depth insight into the staffing needs of the training and development industry. Dave is passionate about establishing relationships with learning and development professionals, and finding perfect roles to enhance their personal and professional growth.
