Announcement: Keynote Speakers for ATD NEAC!

Big announcement this week! ATD has a keynote and a closing keynote for the New England Area Conference on March 28 and 29 at the Needham Sheraton!

Keynote information for ATD New England Area Conference

For the opening keynote, ATD is pleased to welcome Katrina Marie Baker, Senior Learning Evangelist at Adobe. Her talk, “Blend Like a Pro: Key Ingredients for Blended Learning” is sure to start the conference off right.

“Learning professionals are a bit like chefs, mixing together learning approaches to give their students a delicious blend of educational experience.”

Katrina’s keynote is sure to resonate with many of us in the learning world. The way people learn is seldom a one-size-fits-all solution. As professionals, we need to create programs that resonate with different types of learners. Katrina’s keynote session will touch on practical tips and tricks to implement blended learning, and touch on the research behind current learning trends.

After what is sure to be an action-packed conference, ATD is lucky to have Will Thalheimer, PhD, creator of LTEM, the Learning-Transfer Evaluation Model give the closing keynote. His talk, Innovations in Learning Evaluation: Two Breakthroughs Primed to Change Everything  is something to look forward to after a great day.

His speech will share two learning-evaluation innovations that are changing the way evaluation gets done. Evaluating learners has always been difficult, and learning professionals often feel as if learning measurement is a must-have, but how to get there is not always a straight path.

We are really looking forward to both these talks and hope you are too! There is plenty of time to register, and if you register before March 9, you can still get a discount.
