What does “DisrupTD” mean? Here’s a great snippet from the website, this sounds like it’s going to be a great conference!

Powerful forces are disrupting the World of Work.  A workforce composed of five generations of workers is redefining “Diversity.”  Social media and mobile technology are redefining the way we communicate.  The Cloud and big data are increasingly pushing the need for analytics.  Employers and Employees are forging a new alliance based upon teamwork and continuous improvement.  And then there is video, the newest force in communication and engagement.

So what then is both the impact and challenge of this new world on the TD professional?  What knowledge, work habits and character traits will be needed in this rapidly changing world?  Fortunately the skills needed in this new world such, as communication, digital fluency and empathy amongst others are teachable.  But is your organization making the adjustments needed, or are you standing pat and waiting to be pushed?

This is what the 2017 NEAC is all about.  Explore, be challenged, be transformed!

The sessions and presenters are still being  worked out but as news comes out, we’ll keep you informed.

See you in March!
