February 2019 News and Notes

February is a short month, but it never feels like that! Especially when you are as busy as we are. We’ve had a great month and our to-do lists are growing by the day. But we’re happy about that! Busy days mean better business and we are looking forward to a packed spring.

Events and shows are a big part of our spring, and we’d love to see you at some of them. We’re a sponsor for the ATD New England Area Conference in March, we’re attending the Financial Services Learning and Talent Development Innovations conference in Charlotte, NC and we’re a Platinum Sponsor for the Training Industry’s Conference and Expo in June in Raleigh, NC.  It’s not too late to register for any of these shows and if you have any questions about any of them, let us know!

Another reason February has been so great… we welcomed Sharon to our team!

February news, ski patrol

Sharon is our new Talent Management Specialist and will work very closely with Tammy Sena in talent management and sales operations.  She will handle tasks including recruiting, on-boarding new trainers, consultants, managing a variety of other system and database functions. Thanks for joining us Sharon!

As usual, we have a full calendar of open MS Office classes for anyone to take. Seats are open in March and April, and the May schedule should be out in about a week. These classes are 90 minutes, virtual but with a live instructor and can be taken anywhere you have internet. You can choose any application and any level. Learn something new today!

On a fun personal note, last weekend Peter Ward passed his 3rd final test and is now a Red Jacketed full Ski Patroller at Blue Hills Ski Area. Peter had to pass an OEC (Outdoor Emergency Care) exam, Ski Test and Toboggan Test. Congratulations Peter, have fun on those slopes!
