AXIOM News and Notes – April 2016

Spring is here! Sometimes it doesn’t feel like it but the flowers poking through the dirt say otherwise. Warm weather is coming, baseball has started and the grills are coming out of hiding. We’ve been very busy here at AXIOM and have a lot to update you on. Our partners are doing great things, we’re spending time doing some learning of our own, and we have more classes than ever to offer to you.

  • May and June MS Office classes are available now! Visit our MS Office page and sign up for 90-minute virtual classes you can take from the comfort of your own home or office.
  • New Jobs on the Jobs Page! Check it out, send a resume, refer a friend, share on social media. We’re always looking for great new people to add to our team.
  • Salesfoce breakoutPeter Ward and Stacy Brinegar attended a great event in Boston last week, the Salesforce World Tour! We’re switching to Salesforce and this was a great way to start to learn how we can customize it to work for us. Never mind the rain and the parking, we had a great time! Eric Bloom Book
  • Our great partner Eric Bloom’s book has been released! That’s right, it’s available on Amazon now! Click here to get a glimpse, order or leave a review. We got a sneak peek a few months back and we think it’s great!
  • Do you know what else Eric Bloom is up to? His new IT-LAMP program. It’s a year-long IT leadership training program with three primary components: on-line classes, monthly teleconferences and discussion boards and an online library of IT leadership career tools. It’s rolling, so you can sign up whenever you want.
  • AXIOM was thrilled to sponsor the Ice Cream Social at the New England Area ATD Conference in April. Plus, we were an exhibitor and had a great time meeting new people, sharing some good food and drink at the networking events and giving away a Fitbit Blaze!
  • Another partner of ours, Kirsten Rourke (we sure have a great group over here!) is speaking at the Adobe eLearning Conference in May in Washington D.C. Kirsten will be speaking on “Creativity and Learning Go Hand-in-Hand”. It’s not too late to register!Adobe conference May
  • Last but not least, we love when friends, family and partners contribute to great causes. Amanda Nolan, a former AXIOM trainer and good friend to Dave Franco is running the Boston Marathon on Monday, April 18 for the Last Call Foundation. This is in honor of fallen firefighter Michael Kennedy. Please consider a donation, or if you are on the route, cheer her on! AXIOM wishes her all the best for that long journey!

Thanks for keeping up with us!
