Happy Holidays! Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! Joyous Kwanza! Whatever you celebrate, we hope you have a moment to look back at the year and feel the love of those surrounding you.
2016 certainly had its ups and downs but as we look back on the year, we think of all the great things that happened here at AXIOM and we hope you can, too.
What a year we had! We grew this year, adding Brad Mayo, Sarah Tiernan and Tammy Sena. You have all made a big difference and we’re thrilled to have you at AXIOM.
Brad joined us in February as Director of Global Project Management Office (PMO). Sarah started in August as our Director of Learning Solutions and Consulting and Tammy rounded out our additions in October as our Talent Manager. Great to have you!
It was a big year for AXIOM’s existing members, too. Jason Ruff was voted to the ATD Greater Boston Board as Director of Sponsorship, and Peter Ward was appointed the VP of Membership for the ATD Bay Colony Chapter. Both have attended a lot of events this year and have made some great connections.
Last year AXIOM was thrilled to sponsor the Ice Cream Social at the New England Area ATD Conference in April, and we’re already thinking about next year’s conference! Maybe we’ll meet over ice cream this year, or stop by our booth to say hello! Details coming soon…
Our consultants and partners have had great years too.
Jamie Millard, a friend and fellow ATD member of Peter Ward has written a book called “Becoming a Can-Do Leader: A Guide for the Busy Manager.”
Ken Kousen, a long time AXIOM instructor, has his book is out now. If you are a Gradle fan, this one is for you. Gradle Recipes.
Eric Bloom of Manager Mechanic has a book out as well, and it’s a best seller on Amazon! “Productivity Driven Success” promises to “widens your perspective on productivity enhancement and outlines a strategy to assure your efforts are aligned with corporate goals”.
Congratulations to our authors!
On a more personal note, we can’t forget to mention Jason, Peter and Bruce’s involvement in the Pan Mass Challenge. Jason gave up his own time to volunteer at the ride and Peter and Bruce both participated, raising more than $9,000 for cancer research.
